The A13 motorway is closed in the Paris → provinces direction, from the Paris ring road (boulevard périphérique) to the Vaucresson interchange (Saint-Cloud tunnel), from 16 November 2026 to the end of August 2027, 24/7. The provinces → Paris direction stays open.

Why the works

The DiRIF road authority and the Société des grands projets are strengthening the north bore of the Saint-Cloud tunnel, a structure almost a century old, before the Grand Paris Express Line 15 West tunnel boring machine passes under it in 2027. The A13 carries up to 80,000 vehicles a day.

Recommended detours

  • Via the RD910 then the RN118 (with access to the A86, the RN12, then the A12 and the A13 further west).
  • Via the RN13 then the A14, to rejoin the A13 further west.

Journey times are likely to be longer, especially in the evening rush hour. The authorities advise avoiding the area where possible, travelling outside peak hours, using public transport or car-sharing, and checking Sytadin. Note: the Saint-Cloud viaduct (A13) will also close in both directions for two months in summer 2027.
